Hello All, I'm new to site and love it as the help Ive received has been great. However, I do find it quite hard to navigate through the Community. Is there not an option to have standard title (place/name) which might help us all to check what we are looking for and/or offer help to others? Sorry if I'm putting my foot in this but I just think it would help

We have all tried to get folks to put

John Brown, London, 1850

as a title, , it just doesnt happen, Name place and date , how simple is that ?
so we have to wade through, tearing hair, desperate, going blind etc to get to the root of the matter.

Advanced search is pretty clever at weeding out the surnames you need but not always successful.!!

I agree
I always put name place date as a title and would be esspecially helpful on Looking for Surnames!!
