Death Certs.

But also remember that a lot of the information on a death certificate is only that which is known to the informant ........ thus much of it may be wrong. Many people were not (and are not!) accurate in what they tell their spouses,offspring or other such people.

The information that is sure to be correct:-

date of death
cause of death
place of death
name and relationship of informant
name of doctor


The information that may not be absolutely correct includes:-

name of deceased
age of deceased
marital status of deceased
occupation of deceased

Reg district
Date of death and where,
Name and surname ,sex ,age ,
Occupation ,cause of death ,
signature and residence of informant when registered and signature of registrar.
