Reading other threads made me realise that perhaps someone can help me find out when Thomas Border, his daughter Hannah and possibly his wife Ann came into England from the US. They were in the US in 1866 or therabouts when she was born but back in North East England in April 1868 when he died.
If anyone can pinpoint them I'd be very grateful.

Hi Maureen, have taken a look for you but i can't see anything that matches Thomas Border & Family, the Passenger list starts 1878 - 1960. sorry.

Edit: Maureen, do you already know about this site ?. It mentions Thomas Border & family, maybe worth having a look if not, you could email the person to see if they could help you with information in any way.

Thank you Netty. I hadn't seen that site but had been in touch with someone else who has a relationship with the Border family. He didn't know exactly when they'd returned but assumed soon after the trial.
I'll have a go via this site.
Once again many thanks.
