I have become quite rusty on genealogy recently, but a chain of events day made me do a few google search and i unearthed a "Feloniously killing and slaying Alfred Tabraham"

I beleive Alfred was a brother to my GGG grandad so now I need directing to where I can find and buy this death certificate.

Alfred Tabraham died Sunday, 27th January 1861(age 20)

This looks like the death reference:-

Name: Alfred Tabraham
Year of Registration: 1861
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
District: Hackney
County: Greater London, London, Middlesex
Volume: 1b
Page: 257

You can order online from:-

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

Make sure you tick the "yes" box when the form asks "Is the full GRO reference known?".

Was your ggg grandad Henry? This from the testimony:

HENRY TABRAHAM . I live at Albion-place, Hornsey-road, and am a greengrocer—the dead man was my brother Alfred—

Yes, my ggg grandad was Henry from the testimony.

Also explains why he named one of his son Alfred.
