Hi ,

I'm afraid there are quite a few. Could you tell me whether she had a middle initial?

Gill, there are a few around that date unfortunately, and that's just in Birmingham. Do you still live here? You can look at electoral register in the Central Library for the address you have and see who your mother was living with (only gives people of voting age, obviously). Might give a clue. Pity I didn't know 2 weeks ago, was there myself!

If I could give a word of advice, please don't be offended. But you are looking for a person who is possibly still alive and you really shouldn't post details on a public website. So take advantage of those people who have suggested that you pm (private message) them, it is much safer.

Regards

Margaret
