Hi everyone,
2 of my daughters have been asked to do their family tree for their homework, I got all excited and thought we could easily do it, but I need to show the siblings aswell and can'tfind any free software that can do this on 1 tree for both sides of the family.

Does anybody know of any that would be able to show this.

I need to be able to show 3/4 generations.

Hiya, I have tried I can get it to show all of my children,then me, my husband and our parents. But not my siblings or my husbands etc.

Yes I have all that but but I want to beable to have my husbands family details on there aswell.

I can get my children, me & husband, and my brother & his wife & child, my mum and dad, her siblings and children and my grandparents on 1 tree then can do the same for my husband on another tree. I was wondering if there was a way I can merge the 2 trees together to show my families details & my husbands family details on 1 tree.

I have to collect my girls from school so will be back in about an hour

Yes it is and I have tried both ways descendents show siblings on the 1 side only and ancester only show parents, grandparents etc

Why don't you try the free download from:

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp

It is called a PAF (Personal Ancestry File) I used it for years before moving onto FTM but they are very similar.
