	Ancestry is the best and I think probably the most used, it is quite expensive at around £80 or £105 per year, depending on what you want, but if you go on Ancestry.co.uk you can have 2 weeks free trial to see what you think, (dont forget to cancel before the two weeks run out if you dont like it)
	Researching: Stirrup, Williams, Winter, Newton, Johnson, Barrett, Bruce, Bruen, Hartley, Proffit, Rogers, all in Manchester and loads of other names and places

	Ancestry is very good. Births and marriages are all indexed.Deaths until 1915. After then you have to search each year quarter by quarter. You can also subscriebe monthly.
