I and my husband are both markers of international examination papers (20 years experience), so we are used to all sorts of handwriting and incorrect spellings. Give me a try if you are stuck.

I transcribe for familysearch and some of the writing is appauling but you do get used to the scribble after a while

I live opposite my GP's surgery, and whenever I recieve an old cert that is difficult to read, I pop into the surgery, and if the receptionist dosn't seem too busy, she can usually decipher it, they are used to reading Doctors scribble after all. An older pharmacist can do it too.
