Can't find a tree on Ancestry

A member has told me this:

If you go to my Public Profile (name given) and look in the bottom right hand corner of the page (you may need to scroll down) you should be able to click on my public trees.

Sorry, but I can't see how to do it. Can anyone help please?

Margaret

Are you trying to open a tree that another member has shared with you?

If you scroll over where it says Family Trees at the top left hand side of the screen there should be a drop-down list which should include your own tree and any that have been shared with you. Just click on the appropriate one to open it.

Is this what you are looking for?

on Ancestry ,click on the Search button in the top list and a drop down box opens .Public members trees is the second from the bottom. a search box opens headed Public members trees and you fill in some info. I have searched by just putting in a surname and all the members tress that have the surname in will show and you can select which ones to look at. If you put the full name then only those trees with that full name will show.

Hi folks

Sorry for the delay in getting back - internet problems today.

Moonbeam, no he hasn't shared his tree - he says it is a public one.

Shirley, I have tried that and cannot see his tree.

He has given me a direct link to it, I realise it is on Ancestry.com rather than on Ancestry.co but his messages come through on Ancestry.co. so perhaps that is the problem. I tried Ancestry.com with no luck either.

Anyway, I now have the direct link, so thanks for your efforts.
