I have tried Glasgow Corporation and TGWU , but no joy.Not sure what else to ask google to look for.

My grandfather, John Hamilton, was said to be a tram driver around the time of my mother's birth, Feb,1929.

Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of any directory/ register, that might be able to confirm his occupation.?
