go to the National Archives site and it will tell you about wills.

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

go to 'quick links' and click on Wills

if you have a date of death and address you can apply to York Probate by post. It costs £5 and takes about 3 weeks. I have successfully applied for 2 wills.

Could someone please advise how I can find out whether someone who died in 1925 made a will?
