Thanks to all who replied. Yes I can see the employments as
Commission agent / General Bailiff for Charles G
Clicker Shoe Trader for Charles John. I will look into the Clicker shoe trade history, thanks again

Hi
Norwich was a big shoemaking area at one time.

Clicker
1) Foreman printer who looked after the typography and layout;
2) Shoe-maker who cut out the leather for making the uppers.
3) The servant of a salesman who stood at the door to invite in customers

Hi Paul, i read it as

Charles senior - commission agent and general baliff
Charles John - Clicker shoe trade.

A Clicker in the English shoe trade is a person who is skilled in the grain of leather and cuts or stamps out each part to make up the shoe. This was one of the skilled and best paid jobs.

Think that Charles senior is commission agent and general baliff

Charles junior - middle word looks more like shoe

Hello. I have just found my grt grt grandparents with their children in the 1891 census for Norwich, Heigham. I would like some help interpreting the handwriting for the employment.

Towards the bottom find the RUSHMER family. The two I can't fathom out are CHARLES G. -- something... General Bailiff? and for CHARLES JOHN Chalk box trader? The transcription page gave them as Coachman and Clicker Box Trader respectively !

Thanks for any ideas Paul Rushmer
