I can't find a marriage for Neenan to Malley and as Patrick was born before the 1911 census it's not possible to trace him without buying his birth cert for his parents names.

I did a search on the 1911 census and there are some Neenan's in Lichfield, probably 2 families.

Thanks for that Kath, I didnt realise that about the reg no's being the same. I'm sure you're right about Neenan/Malley being the parents of Patrick. Have you any advice now on how to find a family connection between the two Ellens as they were obviously of the same Neenan family that originally came from Ireland and settled in the Lichfield/ Staffs region.

On these two records the mother's maiden names are different so they seem to be two different Ellen's. Perhaps they were cousins registered at the same time.

Everyone on the same page in a register has the same volume number and page number.

I think the one with mother's maiden name Malley is likely to be Patrick's family (if the birth Christine found is the correct one).

Thank you SO much I'm certain its the right one Christine and extremely grateful for your help. I have no idea if their were any children Kath and ahvent a clue of his parents names either. Its been quite a family mystery so it'll great to solve it. x

It appears that it could be the correct marriage as I have found this birth which ties up with the birth year on death registration, but only certs will prove this.

I'm trying to find ANY information (eg addresses, parents, children, siblings etc) on a Patrick Neenan, died 3rd March1996 aged 84 Married to Maud? died 15th August 1996. They are both buried in Hammerwich church in the West Midlands. I'm having problems finding information and the rest of the Neenan family cant help, no one remembers a Maud in their clan. I'd be really grateful if someone can help me please
