Can some one tell me please how I get hold of a electoral role for a manchester area for 1932.

Older electoral registers are kept at the nearest large library to the address you are looking for. They are only searchable by address and not surname though.

Unfortunately women on the electoral roll in 1930 were only given their title Miss or Mrs
