How would i go about finding a relatives farther if this relative was registered in his mothers maiden name or isnt is possible.

You could check to see if the mother married fairly soon after the birth. Sometimes the person she married could be the father but the longer after the birth that the marriage took place then the less likely it is that her husband would be the father.

Without a father's name on the birth certificate it would be very difficult to prove anything.

yes he was born out of wed lock unfortuneately

it has been something my farther has asked his living mother about for many years but has never told anything.
