Can someone tell me if theukelectoralroll.co.uk is a genuine search facility before i pay any money for joining? I need to do a fair few searches and dont want to keep asking others to do it for me all the time. I was looking to buy the one month unlimited for £9.25.

Any advice or a better site info appreciated

why don't you ask Jean as she obviously has the Electoral Roll. She will probably tell you if it is easy to search

I joined this site and have done numerous checks on people that i know exist and addresses that exist and this site is totally in my eyes only.......misleading and totally unreliable!!!!!!!

Jean has done some searches for me and i totally trust those results. I have done searches by her results and have come up with different names at the same adresses or come up with 0 results. i have also searched by name only for a person im tracing, it has given me an address, i have then searched the address on the same site and it comes up as 0 results............how can that be if this site gave me the address in the first place????

Just my opinion but stay well clear , I dont know if the results its showing me are true or not!!!!!!

Yes Somerset Girl i did go for the cheap otion but glad i tried it, ok im a tenner down but at least others thinking about using it can be warned in advance and save there money.
Im new to this and currently trying to search for my ex wifes brothers for her. It does look good but if the information isnt coming back nearly right, it can make it a lot more harder for people tring to look for living relatives.

Trial and error i suppose.
Anyone offering me a refund ???? hehehe

Hi Gavin,

Since 2003 elec there has been an option for people to no longer have their details shown on the roll available to the public.

There is another roll available to banks etc, that would include armed forces police offices etc.

But there is not need to subscribe for look ups, I have to 2003 roll and Jean and Whirley have the 2008 or 2009 if you need them,

Hi Sheila

I just thought id try and see to save me pestering others all the time. And if anyone needed a check then i couldve helped someone out along the way. Never mind at least i know the pay as you go mastercard works hehehe. I wont tell the missus though!!!!!
