Only goes up to 1956? After that you have to send for the cert.
In saying that, does that mean that any Tom Dick and Harry can send for anyones cert?

I was searching in Scotland People for a death and found the one I wanted. Under Mother's Surname it had "Not Permissable" Does this mean that the person was adopted? The death was in the 1960's
