	Is it 1895 or 1895? Also, have you an occupation for Robert by any chance? I'm also wondering if the other Robert was Mary's son, so it would be good to find out who he was. I know this must seem a long way from your original request but as Aunty S. says with this name we need all the help we can get! Must remember he might not have left at all, or might have left later. Member Since: March 2008 Posts: 16 Send Message	yes the elizabeth is my grandmother 1885 is the right birh date my cousin has done our family tree years ago and came to a halt at our g grand father robert the infomation about the siblings was passed down from my nin. i will try and get more info from my aunts. my mother mary was the eldest sadly she passed away in 1994 she would have known a lot more i'm sure . thanks to all for taking the time to help me. betty

	There are five Robert Edwards born in Holywell in Wales between 1860-1862. The same applies for searching for the family in 1891 and 1901 census. have searched for Robert as father and Elizabeth, Ann, and Louise as children. Louise does not appear but Louisa does. There are multiple matches for each name but none all together. Have done a few other searches with no results. I have searched for a burial in Houston Texas for Robert Edwards in 1907 with no results. Did that by googling, which does not mean to say it's not there I just didn't find it. This is not giving up time. It is more information time. Can you track the family back from your Aunties or Elizabeth. Do you know Robert and Mary's parents name or Mary's maiden name. Have you any birth deathor marriage certificates which might give dates. So let's approach it from another angle.

Member Since: March 2008 Posts: 16 Send Message	Hi robert edwards was born in holywell wales in 1860-62 his wife as far as i know was mary she died leaving 3daughters. elizabethborn 1895. louise and ann no dates for them they also had a stepbrother robert .they lived in liverpool. when robert snr died elizabeth my nin went to live with an aunt in the everton area.iv'e been told by my aunties that he died on board due to an accident . and was buried in houston in 1907 love to be able to give my two aunties some info about him .Betty

	Hi Elizabeth, First step accomplished. Barbara has asked the first of the questions. Give us as much information as you know about your great grandfather. Dates of birth, marriage, death. When married to whom and where. Children, siblings etc etc. Each piece of info we know you have is one more item we don't need to search. Also give us an indication of what it is you need to know so far as your research goes. Also bear in mind you have a person with a fairly common name. There are Robert Edwards in profusion. This makes the dates and his family connections even more important. You may need to purchase certificates to ascertain family links. We'll go through that process when it comes up. Good luck and monitor your thread regularly.

	There are a couple of Robert Edwards sailing out 1906/7. Do you know his year of birth, occupation and if he would have been travelling with others?
