yes they lived in the courts Linda

20 court house 2 paul st in 1861
12 court house 4 in 1871
elizabeth is a widow in 1881 living at 20 court 2 house in 1881,

thanks for trying, i have a feeling they are there just under a mistranscribed name.
whats FMP linda?

I have looked through the transcriptions for all of Paul St and Front Paul St but they are not there.
They seemed to live in one of the courts in 1861,so maybe it had a different name, or maybe they had gone back to Ireland for a visit

Trying to find SALTER family in 1851
so far i have..

1871 SALTRE
James Saltre 45yr Labourer at docks born Ireland
Elizabeth Saltre wife 43yr born Ireland
George Saltre son 22 yr dock lab born Liverpool
Elizabeth Saltre dau 15yr born Liverpool
Annie Saltre dau 12yr born Liverpool
James Saltre son 10yr born Liverpool
Patrick Saltre son 4yr born Liverpool.


1861 SAULTER.
james saulter 35yr head bricklayer Ireland.
Elizabeth saulter wife 33yr born Ireland.
george Saulter 12yr scholar Liverpool
Elizabeth Saulter 5yr Liverpool
Anne Saulter 2yr Liverpool

James and elizabeth (Salter)were married in Liverpool in 1847 aand spent all their married lives in Paul Street, i just can't find them in 1851,
does anyone know an easy way to search?
just spent two hrs going through salters saltres slaters saulters..

i'll be most grateful for any hepl given..thanks
