When you see entry on freebmd, there is what looks like a pair of specs next to it - where I have put HERE:!

Z* * Poplar 1c 1253 *HERE*
Click on this. On next page it says "view the original".
Click on this.
Just click OK if a box comes up - your computer might want to scan it..
There you go!

I wouldn't bother with all this, it looks terrible, just get that marriage cert.

It looks like 'Zinn' or 'Zima' - it comes after Zeiss. Looks like both born Germany?

Marriages Dec 1862
Z* * Poplar 1c 1253

You can view it on Freebmd - just click on the pair of specs to the right of the entry and View Image. You can also view it on Ancestry or Find My Past if you pay.

Looking at the image for the unreadable name, it looks like Chaterini (or Chatetana) Zin(n)

brummiejan Report 14 Oct 2009 13:38

I assume you wish to see the unreadable name:

If you contact GRO, they will look for you:

[email protected]

But you can order his marriage cert with only his name of course.
