In answer to your original question, no you can't on the GR site.

If you and the other person each have your own tree program then it is possible to transfer data using a gedcom format file which you would need to email privately . However, do pay heed to Margaret's warning re copying information that may be inaccurate.

You might also want to read the thread titled "Just feel abit annoyed" re copying trees. This subject comes up on here at least once a month and usually provokes a lively debate with views from both sides.

Please don't think there is a suggestion that there is anything improper in using other researchers information with permission, I frequently and willing provide stuff for other members, but do be aware of the pitfalls.

Do you know that the other person's tree is accurate? I would never add anything to my tree from someone else's tree without verifying every detail first.

Hi everyone

how do i add a lot of names to my tree from other tree's that i have been given acces to quickly, at the moment i am copying each name individually and and then adding them to mine individually which is taking a lot of time, is there a quick way to do this?
