Hi ShRat, thanks very much, I was beginning to think my excitment was running away with me and that I was reading what I wanted to be there, rather than what was written, if that makes sence.

Thanks agian, it's much clearer now.

Regards Lou

Hi, On response to a tip to search the library catalogue I did a surname search and found the following.

Title Baker : family Bible records, 1773-1896

Notes Microfilm made of manuscript collection (6 leaves) donated by William T. Sartain, Richmond, California (via the Oakland Genealogical Library, 4780 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland, California - 94602).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Includes Arney, Happrich, Richards, Sartain and related families.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
William Baker (1773-1822) and his wife, Esther, has nine children between 1799 and 1816. Includes descendants to 1896, some living in Carroll County, Arkansas, and others in California.

Subjects Baker
Arney
Happrich
Richards
Sartain

Format Manuscript (On Film)
Language English
Publication Salt Lake City, Utah : Filmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah, 1985
Physical on 1 microfilm reel ; 16 mm.

These are my ancestors, but what does all the above mean?? It is possible that there is a family bible somewhere? and what would be on the microfilm reel?

As you can probably tell I don't understand all this so would really appreciate some help .

Thanks
Regards, Lou
