Saving Genes re files to own tree on computer

If you want a free family tree programme download the pAF (Personal Ancestral File ) from

I used this for years before I bought Family Tree Maker

Unless you have some family history software or a Family Tree programme installed on your computer, then you can't work on the file offline. If you export your GR tree, you will be emailed a GEDCOM file which you can store on your PC but like I said, you won;t be able to work on it without someother FH programme.
