Reinstalled flash player but the tree is still messed up. It looks like I'm going to have to transfer about 100 individuals back to where they ought to be :0(

Hmm, the tree is displaying differently EACH time I open it! I'm beginning to suspect it could be a flash player problem.

The problem is the moment I click on the Eliza to try to alter it to read William, the tree automatically reverts to William + Eliza + 4 children. Plus not all the children display on the Eliza + Eliza view in any case.

Click on a child.
Is there a "change parents" option,in the bottom bar?

Something really strange has happened to my tree and I am wondering if similar a thing has happened to other people's trees.

I know the information was originally entered correctly and that it originally displayed correctly. However, in the intervening months, the individuals have moved around the tree!

William and his wife Eliza had 9 children, who each had their own large families (ie- will be a nightmare to sort out!). Originally this displayed as parents with the 9 offspring. But NOW if I open the tree with either parent only 4 children exist. If I search the tree using the lost children's names, I can retrieve them but they are the offspring of Eliza and Eliza! If I click on the child's siblings the tree reverts to William and Eliza with just 4 children. It is quite bizarre!

My tree has over 6000 people in it as I have been with GR since 2003. I KNOW I have not made any mistake in entering the data. Does anyone have any idea what could have happened and if it can be remedied?
