Re. name change that is as taken from Tothill register on micro fiche in Lincs Archives.I have another line where child is shown as baptised with Marwood surname which later becomes Marrat.Its very confusing.Now back to your question.
William Marrat b.June 1749
John Marrat b.1750
Ann Marrat b. 1752
Elizabeth Marwood b.1757
Sarah Marwood b.1759
Eleanor Marwood b. 1769

To change to Marwood seems odd, I think Marriot wpould be a more usual change.

The IGI covers Tothill, for the years you need, but there is no birth or marriage for Thomas there

Where was the first child born and when?

I have Thomas Marrat b.1728 died1764 wife Ann b.1728 died 1765/85
I would like to find out the parents of both Thomas and Ann also any brothers or sisters they may have had.
I have children of Thomas and Ann and birth dates and place also est.death dates.children I have are William,John and Ann, ALL with Marrat surname then it changes to Marwood surname, with 3 more children Elizabeth, Sarah and Eleanor.
Sorry for not giving enough details the first time.

John, could you clarify what it is you are trying to find out and what you already know. There is no point in anyone duplicating research which you have already done.

Any information please about Thomas Marrat born 1728 Tothill area in Lincolnshire
