He's on the 1891 census as Arthur, no second name, 3 months old.
A problem that a lot of people have is entering too much information, just use first names.

Hi Jan It could be her but I have no clues whatsoever to her family which is a great pity. I must say its a lot easier when you have SOME clues to go on.

i'm SO thrilled because my mum told me....over 50 years ago that her grandmother was Alma Frizell and there were some connections with France. Until I read this afternoon of George Frizell Goodman (thanks to you birdinanest) I had never heard it mentioned again. now I'm fascinated ass to where the name Frizell came from and its connections with my family. S thank you x

Carol Report 27 Oct 2009 21:04

It seems that Alma Goodman's middle name was Julia, so not sure how my mum got her info....maybe she just heard it wrong, or perhaps there was a link somewhere???

Wildgoose Report 27 Oct 2009 21:45

I'm glad you're happy, Carol. Isn't it a wonderful feeling when it all begins to come together?

Frizell must have been someone's name in the family. Something else to hunt for; lovely!
