For information about Online Parish Clerks go to

http://www.onlineparishclerks.org.uk/

Unfortunately only a handful of counties are covered as yet - it all depends on volunteers.

If you have a Latter Day Saints Family History Centre near you (you can find addresses for these on www.familysearch.org) then they will order filmed copies of parish records for you for just a couple of pounds and they keep the film for about a month to give you chance to view them.

Try contacting the FHS for the county/area in which your relatives were born etc.

Most of them are only too willing to try to help.

Also, some counties have OPC's (online parish clerks) Lancs is one for certain

Hi, I'm new to this and not sure where to go from here. I live in Australia and i am tracing family tree in England. Have traced family back to 1700's. But not sure how to continue. Bit hard to do over the net.
Advice would be grateful.
thx
