Thanks everyone for your help. I'm pretty sure now that Theresa married Jacob Phillips. Their later address is in Mile End where her father ended up in the workhouse---hardly surprising that he didn't live with them as they had 13 children!
Sorry this is a late thankyou. I did write one straight away but it never showed up on the board .

Can't find a Theresa Turney married to an Albert, so think you have found the right one in the 1881

I can see your problem - the page number is given as 5(41) which means that the transcriber couldn't make it out. I will have a look at the image.

I think the page number is 51 - will check others on that page

Can anyone tell me how to find the spouse name for someone whose name is on the BMD marriage record? I've found Theresa Elizabeth Chick ,married Jan/Mar 1869 E.London 1c 51 but don't know who she married,so can't track her any further using censuses without her new name. Any help would be much appreciated.
