Many thanks for your replies, I now know this ancestor was born in South Wales so I think now this Oakleigh is probably a boarding house or a friends rather than family. Sorry I have not replied sooner to your help.

Bear in mind that the house might have been renamed or the street renumbered in the last 90 years

The electoral roll will tell you who was registered to vote at a particular address.
These records are generally kept in the local library or records office.
Sometime staff will do simple look ups like this for free, it is worth asking them.

I would like to try and trace who lived at a certain address in 1919, the address is Oakleigh, 12 Llanfari Road, Ruthin, Clwyd, LL15 1BU, would this be on an electrol role, and if so is anyone able to look this up for me please.
