Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the De-luxe and Platinum versions please? There is quite a difference in the cost and I'd like to know if it's worth it!

According to the site below, Deluxe £29.95 has 3 months subscription to Ancestry included , Platimum £39.50 has 6 months Ancestry subscription

Platinum is much better value.

Thanks very much. Is this the only difference?

Christine & Christine,

That's the 2009 edition which has been slated for poor performance.
Below is the 2010 edition which is reputed to be better.
Christine is correct in that it's 3 months Ancestry V 6 months Ancestry with some minor added extras on the Platinum ..........have a look.

Thank you, thats a really big help. Now I really want it! Question is, can I wait for someone to buy it for me for Christmas, or will I have to buy it now?

2008 had bugs, and missing functionality, these were fixed in 2009. 2010 has additional functionality added.

Irrespective of whether you buy De-luxe or Platinum you get the same tree program, as you do if you buy the upgrade program at £19.90, which has just 1 month Ancestry subscription.

Oooh Marion,
This tip could save Father Christmas a packet and mean he could bring me something else!
How do I convert Tesco tokens into FTM?
thanks,
jill

Hi Jill.

The deal is through the Tesco clubcard vouchers. The ones you get sent in post.
You do it online and they send a voucher which you then post off.I got mine within about a week.

I'm a bit confused Marion, sorry.
Do you go on line to Tesco and they send you a voucher to buy FTM on line? And can I use my double up vouchers?
thanks,
Jill
