Looks like there are some new records out for the first world war, would someone if you have the time see if there is anything for Alfred Wood born Caistor Lincs 1891 and William Wilkinson bn 1892 in Caistor Many thnaks

Not sure about this one. Glentworth isn't that far from Caistor but there is no birth date given

I've finally found my grandfather!!

I'd given up on checking back on the records 'cos he was never there!

Now I know he served in the Machine Gun Corp

Well .......... Harry Schofield from Lancashire is not exactly an uncommon name!!
