Hi, would it be possible if someone could do a lookup in the 1911 census for George Higson born 1879. he was married to betsy and had one son in the 1901 census.

Where was he living? The 1911 is free to search, but you have to pay for downloads. There are two which may match - one in Wigan and the other in Ashton - under - Lyne.

Hi, in 1900 he was living in Ash Street, Farnworth, Bolton.
