This point crops up quite regularly.


Potty is so right about people expecting GR to email them when a reply is posted. That's why some don't come back.


Another reason folk don't return is because GR do not give guidelines on how to find your thread again - so those who are not computer literate haven't a clue (I know that because I was one of them once upon a time)


Most evenings I go through all the previous day's posts and send an explanation of how to retrieve threads to about 40 people. I get many replies from folk who are so grateful to receive advice on both of the above points. Some, of course, don't even reply to my pm.....but.......I've tried!


I've also noticed that quite a few of the experienced researchers on here are against deleting threads - in fact, I've just seen one from mgnv - will go look for it!

Thats why i got into the habbit of asking them a question as my 1st reply..........something to do with something that they might have left off........If they don't answer that then im off lolol

A lot of people expect to advised by GR when somebody has posted to their thread. Sadly, this doesn't happen!

Its getting pretty frustrating with people not answering or acknowledging replies on threads.

Please stick around for a while or at least let people know if the info supplied is what you wanted etc.
