Hi Rambling Rose.
Thank you, I will.
I thought it might have something to do with the East India Company.
Thanks again

Has anyone got any idea what an "Elder in the India House" might do. It is the occupation given for my 4 x grt grandfather Samuel Ford on my 3 x grt grandmother, Emma Ford's marriage cert. the marriage took place in London 1838
Any thoughts appreciated.
