I take it you have already exported it and GR have sent it to your e-mail address? If not all you have to do is click the Import/Export gedcom at the bottom of this page.

Now you have to create a new file - go to Family Search.org home page, scroll down a bit and on the right-hand side there is "Free PAF family software" - click "download PAF".

When this is done you should be on the PAF home page - go to File in the top lefthand corner, click NEW and will come up in My Documents - where it will ask for a new name - whatever you choose, lilke my tree or whatever. It willl then ask you for your name & email address - complete this and click OK.

You can now send the unopened gedcom attachment in your Inbox to the PAF file and it will be lilsted in your programs.

The above is a copy of some guidance I sent to someone else and I had to rack my brains to remember what I did! but he did email me to assure me it worked, and I hope it does for you.

Have you registered with the Family Search site? you can only see the gedcom facilty after you have registered.

On the home page look in the SHARE tab

Depends how large it is! but you can get six generations on one page if you put a tree on Family Search - and it may well be the same system applies to other family tree formats.

On Family Search highlight the most senior ancestor you want to show. Clicking print will take you to Reports and charts. Click Descendants and Standard chart. With indent at 10 mm you should get six generations on one page (I've got 7 on one branch of mine but I can't remember how I set the indent!).

There is a Preview button.

Please can anyone help - is there a method by which a family tree can be printed in a single page format ?

Many Thanks,
