She might have been involved in a divorce. Worth checking out on the National Archives database. Please email me with her details and I will have a look.

Does anyone know about civil service records for the UK from 1915-1933? My gran worked at The Ministry of Labour in Kew, London and left in 1933. We don't know what job she had there, only that she worked there a long time and was possibly sent abroad in 1915...and had an affair with an MP!
Thanks
Sarah
