Loads of people ask this, Deirdre. I wish there was a little 'tutorial' on the GRO web site.

I assume this is more than 50 years ago?

Don't forget to check the box that says you have the reference then you don't need the date.

Hi every-one
I am trying to request a copy of my grand parents marriage certificate - I have tried the General Register office on line but they require the exact date and I only have the year. i have the volume no and page no from the BDM register: Can any one advise a better web site to try.
