Do not usually print straight from Ancestry as I save the images and then crop them to get rid of all the black edging

Have you tried first saving the image to your computer,
then adjust the print properties to fit the page.?

Dont save the image to your shoebox choose the option to save it as your computer ,its the bottom of the 3 options. This will save it to your documents on your PC and you can then print it from there

Have you got a folder that collects downloaded images? I only ask because I've got one - everything I download from the internet goes into it.

Otherwise, try searching for all files created within the last day etc - it might come up that way. (I'm on a Mac and that works for me so I'm guessing a PCw ould have a similar search option.)

Also, for future reference, when you save it choose the folder you want to save it in. Then you can find them easily.

Alan, sometimes on Ancestry you can view a page on your screen, but you have to look for an option called "printer-friendly" before you can print it, otherwise you get a blank page.

Did the OP sort this problem? I have exactly the same problem with Ancestry images. I save them into My Documents, but when I look for them, they aren't there. If I try to save again, I get a message that I already have a file with that neame, so they must be somewhere, but I don't know where.
