Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a death certificate of someone that died in Malmo Sweden and where I would need to write to?

Thanks

googling "death certificate malmo" brought up this, might be worth an e-mail? or a look at their website?

Hi Helen

Thanks for that, I will try that link now.

I have a strange situation that needs sorting - well in my mind it does! My Gran and her family were german, one of her brothers married a Danish lady and lived in various places in Denmark, however when he died his wife sent my gran a newspaper cutting that gave Malmo as where he died with a 1955 death date but also she sent my grandmother a photo of the head stone with a 1926 date of death. Her cloths are non descript and so cannot be linked to either era.
Also as far as we knew he had no children from that marriage but the head stone inscription says 'husband and father'.
I get hooked by mysteries!
