Looking for (dreaded) Jones family of according to 1881 census...

William Jones. Stonemason. b. 1846. L.Pool.
Sarah Jones. Wife. b. 1848. L.P.
Rachel Jones. dau. b. 1870. L.P.
Sarah E. Jones. dau b. 1874. L.P.
Robert Jones. son b. 1876. L.P.
Emily Jones. dau b. 1878 . L.P.
Ada Jones. dau. b. 1880. L.P.

They were all living in Mount View, Mount Pleasant Liverpool.

I think they had another son Frederick 1880-1882.

Then they all seem to Disapear.
I have tried looking for them individualy with not much sucess.

Possability they were all orphaned ?
Poss. parents went to America and abandoned kids, or all went to America.

Please - does anyone have any sighting of them 'after' 1881.

I do have them on 1871 census and Sarah is Sarah A. and born in St Helens.
There is also a son William age 3 b. 1868 in L.Pool.and they live in Jorden St. L.Pool.

Forgive if I dont answer any replies imediately, due to time difference as I live in Australia.
Thank You .. J,J,

I just started to have a look around, but there is a Canadian Attestation Paper for a Robert Jones, born April 28, 1876, Liverpool, England.
Perhaps he might be your Robert? His next of kin is listed as M. (Mr. or Mrs.) Briggs, Collingwood, Ontario.

There is a possibility of a further marriage to James Hayes by a Sarah Ellis. Have found a Sarah Hayes on 1911 census as a widow so if true this didn't last long either!!

THIS IS IT....... THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I wasnt sure if this was the right Jones family, I needed a Frederick (grandad) to be in there after 1881. And he is there ... I have been searching for yrs for him. I am positive its the right one. On Fredericks marriage cert 1903 he gives his address as Blundell St. But we always thought it was my grans address.
He produced a very large family (10 kids) and died young at 37.
But no one knew where he came from.
Barbara I cant thank you enough.
I think his father 'William' was still alive in 1903 as on Freds marriage cert it doesnt say 'father deceased'.
I will be celebrating tonight Best wishes from a very grateful Ozziebird.
