Newspaper Archives at Chelmsford

Hi everyone

I want to look at the newspaper archives for Essex mostly for West Ham, and I have been told by the Chelmsford Records Office to go to the Chelmsford Library. But I don't know the address of the library, and when I google, more than one comes up, can anyone point me in the right direction, as I want to ring them first before I go as I am not local to the area to see if they hold the records I need.

Hi Tracie,

If you go to the Chelmsford RO they are very helpful. There is a car park at the RO but you do have to pay to use it and there is usually lots of room in it.
