Yet another 1911 query - sub or credits?

Sorry to be boring, but I can see some of you have a sub to 1911 now, so might be able to offer an opinion, if you don't mind. I am going to treat myself, but still a little unsure if it's best to get credits or take out a sub. I have located most of my relatives (thanks to excellent advice on Jonesey's thread!) so it's just a case of having a look at transcript or original.

However, the few remaining ones might take a bit of searching out.

Any thoughts as to which might be best in my case please?

Thanks!

Jan

PS if I delay in replying it will be because I am expecting visitors soon, hopefully not too soon! (How dare they interrupt the far more important business of family research??!)

Thanks Somersetgirl. I think you're right - a sub it is!

Sub is more economical but only if you have more than ten originals to look at. FMP say as much on their site, refreshingly honest I though. If you feel these last few families are going to take a lot more searching (and viewing of originals to check) then a sub will be your best bet, yes.

don't underestimate that you can get carried away, even if you only plan on looking up a few families, e.g. I knew my gg-gran owned houses in a particular street and so I looked up who was living in each of them too, turns out some of them were distant cousins, it can be addictive and so I would definitely go with the sub if you can afford it, remember though that FMP have a "fair usage policy" of the equivalent of 5000 credits per month, otherwise they may decide you are doing this as a business

Thanks for the advice! I do indeed get "carried away" so yes, a sub is for me (have birthday cash burning a hole in my pocket!)
