PROBLEM WITH ADDING AN ANCESTOR TO MY TREE

Hi,
Here is my problem. I have identified a brother and sister, surname Posnett, who both married a bother and sister, from another family, Tranfield. I can link the posnetts to their mother/father and I can link the Tranfields to their parents and then link him to the posnett they married but when it comes to linking the last person there appears nothing to allow me to link them to the Tranfield indicating that they married. it just creates a duplicate person. Is this a flaw in the programme or am I overlooking something . Thank you

You cannot merge people on a Gene tree.
It seems you have to enter some people twice.
Once as a son/daughter and again as a partner.
