1851 Birthplace transcription help please

Please can anyone look at the 1851 for Henry Brown born 1815 and transcribed on Ancestry as "Middlesex AMSWORTH". He is living in Coburg Row, St John the Evengelist ,Westminster

AMSWORTH doesn't seem to be a place in Middlesex and I suspect this is a mistranscription or a phonetic mistake by the ennumerator but I have looked at it until my eyes hurt and cannot fathom what it is supposed to be. Hamworth perhaps but the A seems to be definite?

Very grateful for any help

Thank you

I wonder if it could be a miss pronunciation of Isleworth?

Thanks for the help so far. I can't find Ainsworth anywhere in England let alone Middlesex and I had wondered about Isleworth but the A does seem to be the same as the one on Alfred to the left of the same page and the s the same as on a line below.
I hadn't thought of the London accent for Harmondsworth - just how my ancestors might have pronounced it!
I would still would be grateful for any further suggestions though, I have been stuck on this particular ancestor for 3 years! Can't seem to get over or around the brick wall!

I had a look too, not very clear.

Have you tried on other census for him?

Might not be the same one but, there is a tree on Ancestry with a Henry Borwn born Isleworth 1817,parents Richard and Mary. 10 siblings.
Wife also Mary on 1871 census.

Thank you, I will look at the Ancestry tree
Can you give me more info about the 1871 census? Haven't been able to find it by searching just on name and birthdate and place
Thank you

Looking on the list of parishes for Middlesex in the 1851 census the only ones ending in "worth" are Hansworth, Harmondsworth and Isleworth.

My Henry and his wife Mary were married in 1830. The Mary on the Ancestry tree was born 1821 so not them unfortunately!
Thanks for trying

Do you know the names/ages of their children?
If Henry was born 1815,he was only 15 when married.
The ages can throw you off track sometimes.

Thanks Marion - His wife seems only to have been fourteen and a half - her birth and Christening and the marriage dates are well sourced!
I do know some children
Mary Ann born 1832 - probably died young
Henry 1835 - I have him and Mary on the 1851 along with Elizabeth born 1845. The only other child I have is Margaret born 1843, awaiting her death certificate for 1845.
This AMSWORTH or AWSWORTH place of birth is the only Henry Brown I can find on the 1851 who is a carman. I had hoped that it might be a place within an area close to Islington or St Pancras...I have done preliminary baptism searches for the places suggested withouth success so far. Unfortunately, the family were in Paddington in 1841 and the census is missing! I'm still trying to find them on the 61
Thanks again

I'm a bit confused with this one - do you have them as a family on any census?
