I have just upgraded to Gold member so i could view a death record. I click on the record i want to open and all i see i a blue screen. Any ideas ?

Best thing to do is to email GR.

You will only get the GRO ref no from the record not details of the death.

If you post the details I'll take a look on Ancestry for you.
