I have still got my ID card too and i remember the nos without having to look at it cos Mum drummed our numbers into us as kids. mine is DIVG 269.4

Joan, Guy Etchells has taken on the task of trying to get the registration document data released early, with partial success.

yes, it's on an ID Card - brown it is and it says "Do nothing with this card until you are told" - I'm still waiting!!!!

I think you will find that any info that would be found in any files relating to The National Registration numbers, thats if files exist, will be subject to the 100 year closure rule, so not in the public domain

These numbers were those on a persons Identity Card issued in the early days of WW2.
I have 6 of these cards, 4 of my own family and 2 of others of persons not in my family, so i would love to be able to find info.

Hello,
I have been looking into my Family Tree for a few months now and my G Aunt gave me some information about her father to me.
One of the bits was his National Registration Number, could anyone tell me if there is a wesite that lets me put in his number to find out a bit more about him.
It would be a grate help to me as well as my Nan, She would realy like to find out some more about her father.

Any info will be brill
