Hi I only have basic ancestry and dont seem to be able to see passenger lists any more (I'm sure I used to?) I am looking for mary mack who may have been born in ireland but was in salford when she was 3 in 1871. Her parents were Michael and probably Ellen. Please would some kind sole put me out of my misery?
thank you so much

Nicola

I don't think there are any passenger records between Ireland and the UK ...... it was and still is basically a ferry service

so you just have to assume that they moved some time between her birth in ca 1868 and census night in 1871.

Looking at the actual image of the 1871

Elizabeth Mack 9 mos was born in ireland

so it looks as though they moved within the year 1870/1871
