hi my husbands great grandfather was in royal engeneers in ww1 and we found his details and 12 pages of info on ancestry and fantastic reading it was but it says he was mentioned in dispatches so was wondering were to look for this ?if any one can help would be great .

Have you tried a google search? Try "mentioned in dispatches records".
