Hi

Please could someone tell me if the deaths for 1916-2005 on ancestry for England and Wales is complete or not. It appears to me that Ancestry have not advertised this document on there site and i am not able to find all my ancestors in this documents.

Well, I think it is, or pretty much. Do you want to put your names on here if you are stuck?

It shows in the BMD records on Ancestry - that box on the right hand side. 1916-2005 transcribed.

Nope - read that wrong - sorry. Ignore me!

I can't find a Wilfred Pamment. Its only this week that i have noticed these death records. It does make it easy to find ancestors instead of trawling through every page. Thanks.

My Wilfred Pamment was born 1901.

He was born Wilfred Pamment and he left his wife and disappeared off the face of the earth. Just found his birth certificate he was born 02/05/1900 in Halifax. I assume he is not alive today or in the last 3 years. He was my great granddad.

Apologies, went a bit mad and looked for William for some reason!

I see his birth:

Births Jun 1900 (>99%)
PAMMENT Wilfred Halifax 9a 384

There is only 1 marriage, presumably to your grandmother.

Could he have emigrated? Might be worth seeing if anyone can look at passenger lists.

There are two trees on Ancestry which show his death as c1970.

(One of them has a copy of his marriage certificate attached.)

Hi Vivienne, thanks i think you might of got my Wilfred.

Sivadkrams tree is my tree but i was told he died in about 1970 but was not able to prove it,i think this Wilfred Pannett might be him,he was never divorced from my great grandmother,i know he left her,i think he might of been a bigamist and who ever was the informant gave the wrong details.

Thank you.
