identifying regiment by photo can any one help?

It looks like its a badge of the royal army service corps.
Looks like there is also loads of william john smiths in royal army service corps born 1878!!

I have just obtained a photo of my grandads brother & on back it has written smith 6/6 green. If anyone could help if i scanned photo to them i would really appreciate it. I was thinking someone my recognise the cap badge.
